  • Jazmin is based out of Columbia, South Carolina at Black Dahlia Tattoo.
    She travels frequently for guest spots and conventions.

  • No.
    Jazmin only tattoos adults 18 years or older, no exceptions, regardless of parental consent.

  • Sometimes.
    Cover ups require a thorough consultation, and flexibility over size and imagery.
    Cover ups generally need to be 2-3 times larger and 2-3 times darker to be successful.

  • Please have any references ready, and expect to leave a non-refundable deposit if you’d like to proceed with booking. Please wear clothing that allows for a photograph of the area you’d like to have tattooed.

    • Your valid government issued ID card

      Expired, invalid, or copies of IDs are not accepted, and you will not be able to be tattooed.

    • Snacks, water, or non-alcoholic beverages

    • Headphones, books, or handheld consoles to use during your appointment.

      (Please remember that movement is detrimental to the tattoo process, and you should try to remain as still as possible during your procedure)

    • Phone chargers

    • Comfort items like a clean blanket or pillow if desired

  • Wear comfortable clothing and dress in layers, as the temperature fluctuates in the shop.

    Wear clothing that allows for full access to the area you’d like to have tattooed.
    Nipple pasties are provided for your convenience, upon request.

  • You may bring one guest 18 years or older to accompany you to your appointment, while studio space allows.

    Children under 18 years old are not permitted in the procedure area.

    Disruptive or intoxicated guests will be asked to leave.

    Do not apply numbing cream before your tattoo appointment.

    Some active ingredients may dilate your blood vessels, which can cause excess bleeding or swelling.
    Numbing creams can cause the skin to be spongy or rubbery in texture, which is harder to tattoo. This can cause a poor application or bad heal of your tattoo.

    You will be required to reschedule if you use numbing cream before your appointment.

  • Only full day appointments can be previewed before the appointment date.

    All other tattoos will be available for review at the time of your scheduled tattoo appointment. Feedback is welcomed! Most adjustments can be made in person, the day of.

    Major changes may require a reschedule of your appointment.

  • South Carolina state law currently prohibits artists from performing tattoos on the neck, face, or head.

    Jazmin creates original works. She does not infringe on copyrights, or steal from other artists. Replications of some art pieces are possible with proof of the original artist’s permission.

    Jazmin does not tattoo feet, genitals, inside the mouth, or certain parts of the hand.

    Hateful or discriminatory language, imagery, or behavior is not tolerated in any capacity.
